This view of “Neuvelle-Hollande”, enlarged one-tenth from its original size, appeared in Francois Peron’s “Voyage de Decouvertes aux Terres Australes” (Voyage of Discovery to the Southern Lands) and was engraved by Jean-Baptiste Cloquet. A smaller view and a plan of the city with an extensive legend, also from “Voyage de Decouvertes …,” complete the set of three images.
