Salzburg 1493
$35.00
From Hartman Schedel’s “Liber Cronicarum” – also known as the Nuremberg Chronicle – this view shows the city in a basin on both sides of the Salzach River. Salzburg began as a Celtic settlement and later became a noted Roman town. Evident in the town is the Romanesque cathedral, while overlooking it is the Benedictine Abbey and the great fortress of Hohensalzburg.
