Boston 1769 – Museum Series

$35.00

The copper plate engraved for the 1722 plan of Boston came into the possession of William Price. From time to time he revised the plate to record additions or changes in the city and published the results with the appropriate date added to the title. This is the last version to appear. The two plans thus provide unique and valuable documentation of Boston’s expansion from early in the eighteenth century to the eve of the Revolutionary War.

The museum quality edition of this plan is printed on a heavy, cover stock paper and a larger size to highlight the lines and shading of this fine engraving.

Size: 17 1/4 x 23 inches. Black & White, Cover-stock Paper
