Historic Urban Plans

This interesting plan of Montreal, like the 1758 Louisburg plan, originally appeared in the English cartographer Thomas Jeffreys’ famous work, “The Natural and Civil History of the French Dominions in North and South America”. Many of the streets and buildings can still be found in the old part of the modern city.
