Minneapolis 1874 – Museum Series

$35.00

George Ellsbury and Vernon Green published several brightly-colored and precisely drawn lithographic city views of towns in Minnesota and adjoining regions. Their two most important prints are this of Minneapolis and the companion print of St. Paul. Ellsbury pictured Minneapolis from the east bank of the Mississippi River, with the St. Anthony Falls and its flour mills at the left and the commercial and residential districts of the city in the center and right.

The museum quality edition of this view is printed on a heavy paper to highlight its delicate coloring.

Size: 10 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches. Color, Cover-stock Paper
