In the middle of the nineteenth century the London lithographic firm of R. Martin issued a series of nine views showing London Bridge as depicted over the years by a number of artists. We have selected the four which include significant portions of the City of London. In addition to that by Wenceslaus Hollar in 1647 illustrated here, the set contains an anonymous manuscript view of 1500 and engravings by Nicholas Visscher in 1616 and Samuel and Nathaniel Buck in 1749. Set of four.
