Key West, Florida 1855

This delicately colored view shows the town and harbor of Florida’s southernmost city at a time when it was one of the state’s most important commercial centers. Key West’s deep harbor and strategic location between the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico made the location of interest to the British, Spanish and, later, the Americans.

The museum quality edition of this view is printed on a heavy, cover stock paper to highlight the lines and tones of this fine map.

Size: 10 1/2 x 20 1/2 inches – Color, Cover-stock Paper
